Okay so my wife was going through her change and looking closely at it like she always does and ran into what we're calling Moleface. We think this must be an error, it's a raised spot on his chin. Easily seen with the naked eye but better seen with the microscope. I've included pictures. What do you think is this an error? What would this dime be worth? Think there are others? 1107221814141595718.jpg 1107221817291790236.jpg

It's a tiny chip out of the surface of the die, which allows the metal to "flow" into the recess, creating a raised spot on the surface of the coin. Quite common, and no added value.

I agree - a small die chip. I pulled several almost identical to yours from a roll of 2011-D Dimes.

Thank you for the quick reply. My wife and kids were having fantasies of living the rich life from the mole face. Lol. The hunt for that rare error goes on.
