That's a very fine coin, congratulations! I spent a few days in Montevideo some twenty years ago, but I didn't get any of the coinage. The merchants were happier taking US dollars, and everything was priced that way.
Yeah I communicate with a few dealers in Uruguay and they have their own price guides apparently. I need to find out if they buy at some of the prices ive been quoted on some of the issues I track. Argentina seems to be a better place to buy Uruguayan coins.
