I just found this error and have never seen anything like it! It is a 1961 penny with an upside down date! If you turn the coin upside down like in the photo, the date is right side up, meaning the date is upside down when the coin is right-side up!!! I think I'll be putting this on ebay with a buy-it-now price of only $20,000.
BRAVOOO! You JUST made my day today! That was good! here's mine upside down 2009 Kennedy rolls uncirculated on Video!
I think you are right. That's an even BIGGER error! My buy it now price on ebay has just gone up to $40,000!
The guy I deal with at the flea market is always saving errors and counter-stamped cents for me. Today I actually got a clipped planchet and what look like a couple struck through grease. He had one that he thought was damaged by something on the die, but I think it's PMD (it's on both sides of the coin). Now I'll have to find one of these to show him. He'd get a kick out this. Good one!:thumb:
