Upgraded Vitellius Tetradrachm

    I had a Vitellius tetradrachm that kept getting bronze disease, I finally decided to give it the heave ho and found one in much nicer condition and the price was more than fair.

    Nice upgrade! You old one has a bit more detail, but the new one wins on aesthetics by a mile ;)

    Very nice coin! I like the earlier one, too, but that's a great upgrade. I'd like to get a Vitellius and Galba Alexandrian so I can finish my 12 Caesars while hitting another sub-collection.

    Come to think of it, maybe I could go for a complete Alexandria set (minus Julius Caesar...maybe that would be a Cleopatra, depending when her coins began!) ...
