    Hey everyone,

In the past I have seen lots of George III Gaming Token's from around this era. They all look fairly similar, kind of like this one. But the only thing I don't get is this one's edge? It's the only one I've seen/found that has that patterened edge.

    Any help please? Thanks!

There's a listing of these in Mitchiner's work on jetons. That's the only place I could think where one would be listed, but I don't recall seeing a scalloped shape before. Then again, I wasn't really looking in that section.

There are also scalloped shaped Conder tokens with similar inscriptions from the county of Worchestershire (DH 36 - 39 The shield is different though, and there are more scallops) There are also scalloped tokens from Middlesex and others from Worchestershire that do not have the same inscriptions.
