Unusual coin

    Yes it looks unusual... But it is just PMD - Post Mint Damage
    Somebody made those indents after it left the Mint

    It does almost resemble a "waffle" canceled coin - very slightly - but it obviously isn't. Those mint-made waffle-cancellations do a much more complete job of obliterating the detail.

    So yes, this is one PMD, done by closure in a vice or similar bit of equipment.

    I got it in a roll from the bank today I picked up 50 rolls there is no vice marks and the crimps are at different angles the waffles are very noticeable I will take couple more pics at different angles

    I assure you this is not a mint-made waffle cancellation.

    I was merely remarking on the slight similarity there, is all.
