Found this 1965 P Dime that looked like a 2015 or so with the shine but the closer I looked a saw 1965. The edges are perfect but you can see the lines through good part of the coin. Some looks like doubling or is this basic die deterioration? It also looks like there is a B or a 3 very large on the bridge of nose. Let me known what you think please. rner
The parallel lines you see are the result of die deterioration. I don't see anything else. Don't let your imagination get the best of you. Chris
That's pretty crazy die deterioration, though. Not worth any kind of premium, but I think it's cool looking.
