Unstamped Penny

I have a penny (pre 1986) that is unstamped (blank) on both sides. It is in great condition. Any idea what it's worth?

so you're saying its a planchet or does it have the collars?

 

I don't know what that means but, it has (looking at it from the side, thin view) a raised line where the rim is.

weeelll.. i'm no expert. but that kind of thing could be worth $20+

 

Value of a blank planchet with or without rim is $2 to $3 dollars.

 

I would say $3 at the most....a blank planchet for a quarter goes for about $4-$5 and a cent $2-$3
