UBID has 50 rolls of Wheaties (unsearched) up for auction ending tomorrow. Only 14 bids at $1.00 per roll. I thought there would be more of an interest but I guess not.

Probably because nobody believes them to be unsearched. :)

There is no such thing as "unsearched" wheat cents. These are a scam 99.9% of the time.

The only thing that hasn't been searched is your wallet.

Anyone want to wager the OP is the seller? :)

The only time you're ever going to find unsearched bags or rolls is if your grandma's friend sells them to you right out of her vault she hasn't opened in 50 years.

The rolls in online auctions have been searched by the seller, his wife, kids, brothers, sisters and the family dog. He's just trying to recoop the $300 he spent on that new rolling machine.

You bet, I'll take that wager - any amount, any time. Why don't we start with $10,000? This is money in my pocket. Being new here, I don't know what OP means but I'm sure it is something negative about me so I will definitely state that I am not the seller. You have a great way to welcome a new forum member gboulton.

    Thanks!

Hopefully some day I'll be as good at it as you are at being one! :)

"OP" means original poster, so it isn't anything derogatory.

You'll have to pardon his manners, but it isn't the first time we've had someone join here just to promote their own crappy business interests. It probably would have been better if you had introduced yourself beforehand.

Welcome to the forum, Iceman. Like previously stated, not too many souls here believe in the "unsearched" term, especially when it comes to wheaties. They are worth 3 to 5 cents each on any given day depending who's bidding, and if they are in the buying mood. And they do calculate shipping into their final bid 99% of the time.
