'Unsearched' roll of V nickels

What do you think a fair price for a roll of V nickels should be on ebay? There are run of the mill 'unsearched' shotgun rolls for $38 a roll. Does this seem to be a fair price or not?

Wouldn't touch v-nick rolls for that price anywhere. You should be able to pick up rolls (meaning 40 random v-nicks) for $25 or so.

 

I doubt there has been any unsearched rolls since 1913

 

Of course they're unsearched! Would I lie? And, yes, the Russians did beat us to the moon, but they forgot to take the camcorder with them.

I really don't believe for a second that these are one bit unsearched... Do you know where I could get them for that Merc? I have never seem them anywhere near that cheap

 

I've seen loose lots of 40 go for about $20 on ebay.
