Howdy fellow coin peeps, I got this in recently and the seller had it listed as a ancient Korean coin but it isn't but all I know is it isn't Korean because the Korean store owner across the street said it isn't Korean, so if anyone knows what it is, please fill me in so I will be less clueless than I am currently. Ribbit Ps: I don't know if I photographed it in the upright position or sideways or . . . .
The second image is upside down. At the bottom, the country name 'Nepal' is written in nagri letters. The denomination '5 Paisa' is written in central circle. On First image, the king's name 'Shri 5 Tribhuvan Vir Vikram Shahdev' is written. The date looks like VS 1872 which is roughly AD 1925. Regards, Ballabh Garg
good to see you Mr Garg. hopefully you will stop by again next week i may have a nice coin for you to look at
I Google'd it and see it's to the north of India. I don't know the Asian/Indian area well, never made it over there . . . yet. Ribbit
