Looks like a casino token... Got it from my aunt, with some coins from Brazil and Argentina...

    Any info will be welcomed.

Don't really know much about tokens - but I'd say that was issued or is tied to the merchant marine in some way.

That "United Seamen's Service" is the "USS" used in the name of ships?

USS that is used for ships means United States Ship. The United Seamens Service is probably referring to maritime sailors or merchants.

Why don't you try visiting google.com and searching under `united seamans mission' ? That's what I did when I saw the token.

You can check out for yourself what you feel might be best match / appropriate to the token.

Thank you Ian, i visited the USS-AMMLA Website and definitively the token is related to them. I see they have many services for seafarers, inluding recreation and entertainment. So i guess i'm right and it is a casino token. Sadly i can't find any other info, such an email address to ask them about it...

There must be a way of contacting them through the webmaster at the site surely?

I would guess that the RVN stands for Republic of Viet Nam, and the other name is the name of a city there. My guess is that it is a token for food or games in some sort of recreation center run by this USS.

So....Viet Nam war era token, and probably quite collectible (although most are not particularly valuable).
