    Sorry, not gold :(

    It's a "late Roman bronze" and has been harshly cleaned. I'm not very good with nailing down the precise attribution of coins from this era, but it is a small bronze coin of Constantine I. The reverse shows the deity Sol.

    I've asked the mods to move this to the Ancients board where someone with more knowledge can give you a more detailed description of your coin.
