i found it in the cotsworlds, while metal detecting looks silver cant be certain. No more sarcastic comments please.
Well it appears to be a button or possibly part of a cuff link, and it has no design or identifying marks/inscriptions on it. And you are asking about it on a coin forum. You might have better luck asking on a button collectors forum. Not being sarcastic, just factual. Whenever you are asking for identification of an item you are always most likely to get an informed answer if you ask the specialists in that field.
