    Dear all,

I purchased this coin today (it was cheap because the vendor could not tell what it is), and neither can I.
I am tending to assume it is a medieval pfennig/denier, with the cross inside a circle on one side.
The problem is the other side: it looks like what may be a man carrying a church/ship/something else?
Either that, or the photograph is upside down and it's a crowned figure looking left.

I am hoping somebody recognizes the figure.
    Fingers crossed!

    Thank you,
    Alex
