Welcome! Cannot tell where this token or medal was issued, but the one side shows the Achilleion, Corfu. On the other side you see the Austrian empress Elisabeth (Sisi) who had the palace built because she liked the island so much.

As for the dates, 1837-1898 is when Elisabeth was born and died. And the 1962 on the other side, well, the Wikipedia article says that "in 1962 the Achilleion was leased to a private company that converted the upper level to a casino and the lower grounds to a museum." Since the piece uses Latin (including the "Achilleum"), it may have been minted outside Greece ... or maybe a Greek manufacturer thought that Latin would be more appealing to international tourists. ;)

hI as for the history you are 100% correct but on the token ,there is just no Info on the Internet . I t could be a token to commemorate that, apparently sold to tourists or shareholders in the company that purchased it.
SO what now is it so rare ?? or just another tourist token??

I don't know for sure, but since there was also a museum included in the restoration, along with the casino, I would presume this was specially created to (probably) sell as a souvenir. Hence, the importance of putting Elisabeth on this. I would treat this as a minor thing, and possibly only appealing to those who are interested in exonumia for Elisabeth and Austria. Just my thoughts right off-hand. That being said, it doesn't mean someone might not be interested, but I would think the value of this is likely to be less than 10.00 to someone interested in this than more than 10.00.
