No idea what this is, it cost me £8 though.

I got it just because I thought it was nice looking, it's quite heavy aswell...bronze?

It is pretty much exactly the same size as a 5 cent (nickel) piece.

    Eddy,
It's a 22-23mm bronze "vota" coin of the emperor Magnentius 350-353AD

Magnentius AE Centenionalis. 353 AD. D N MAGNEN TIVS P F AVG, draped & cuirassed bust right / VICTORIAE DD NN AVG ET CAES, two victories holding shield inscribed VOT/V/MVLT/X,
I can't make out the mint but it's one of 5 that produced this type,Lyons,Amiens,Rome,Arles or Trier. The one in the pic is Arles (FPAR)

LOL well got my flu jab and woudnt you just know it came down with a terrible dose of the flu  that in turn kicked off a ear infection and believe me I did not want to do much. Still feel weak as a kitten but slowly getting back into the swing of things.

    Hello,
Its most probably Magnentius, but could also be his brother Decentius, as the obv legend can't be read from the begining, here are both, you can see there's no big difference
