Any help in identifying this token is appreciated. It appears to be a clown on the obverse and a 5 pointed star over a horseshoe on the reverse. I had guessed maybe something from Texas, but a lot of places use 5 pointed stars and horseshoes. The dancing clown leads me to believe it may be a game token of some sort. Its 23 mm in diameter and silver in color perhaps nicket plated base metal...Thanks Bill

    It's a stock amusement token.

    It's not especially uncommon.

Thankyou for the information. Its amazing what you can do when you know the right terminology. A search of Stock Amusement Token turned up the company that makes them along with examples of the obverse and reverse. Thanks again....Bill

Thanks for the info. I'm still getting used to the ability to just google things related to tokens and medals.

I collected telephone tokens for years before I even knew what they were but this was back long before google.
