United States: 1907 gold Liberty Head quarter-eagle ($2.50)

    PCGS MS64. Cert. #38912944.

    Numista-13432, Krause-Mishler-72.

    Mintage: 336,294.

Ex- Michael Swoveland, dba WNC Coins, LLC, Asheville, NC. Date of purchase unrecorded (circa 2021-2022). Purchased in the slab.

This is an attractive example of the final year of the Liberty Head quarter-eagle design. It has nice clean surfaces and attractive luster. I bought this one before the steep rise in gold prices. As of this typing in early 2026, its PCGS priceguide value is more than twice what I paid for the coin.
