Unique find for West Coast

I live in the San Diego area and on Thursday I got a Washington DC quarter in change... Only my third one so far... Looked at it carefully and it turned out to be a "P"!

sweet. im on the west coast too, and i havent found any 2009 coins at all. and i get out a lot.

Speaking of which, does anyone know if Alabama quarters had lower mintages than the others? I only have a D one, and I've been trying to find one for a friend for almost a year. I don't go out that much, but still...
