Inherited this coin from my father who acquired it many years ago in England. It was told to him that it was an old Roman coin that had been found in the locale area of East Anglia. It was also assumed to be around 300AD. As you can see this is a bronze coin in relatively good condition. Wondering if anybody would have any idea on its worth?
From the obverse legend, it seems to be Constantine I (307-337 AD), so your "about 300 AD" is pretty close. We'd need to see the reverse to say much more, but unless it's a very rare variety, your coin is probably not worth much- the condition isn't that great, and Roman bronze from that period is surprisingly common.
