I am in the process of organizing and catalogueing my World coins and Currency collection. I have been able to identify almost everything using the words or emblems on the coins and the Standard Catalogues. But a dozen Arabic coins continue to elude me. I've posted photos of both sides of each coin, (1a & 1b, etc) at this site.

If any one can help me it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, JonySky

The coins 1 thru 5 are from Iraq from the thirties to the fifties. I think #4 is a 50 fils which is .1447oz. silver. I can't figure out the dates so I can't give prices but they range from 50 cents on up to the low hundreds. Good luck.

What a great way to introduce yourself! Please stick around, as IDing Arabic coins is one of my weak spots.

    Thanks,

I'm a worldcoincollector for 25 years now. ID-ing is not such a difficult thing when the coins are present in my own collection, or at least some coins of the same series.
Hope I can help ID-ing coins in the future.
