I found this in a lot of foreign coins I bought, I know it's not an expensive coin or anything but Ifound it fairly interesting so I thought I would share it!
I'm pretty sure I read that it was emergency coinage(called notgeld) minted in Büdingen, Germany in the 1910's-early 1920's

Interesting find in such a lot! :) And I agree about the date; such local emergency coins were issued during and shortly after WW1 but before the "hyperinflation" period. Seems that the issuing body was the Kreis (county) Büdingen which existed until the early 1970s ...

A first notgeld has been released at July 31 1914 in Bremen. The last notgeld has been released at 1923.
