the BEP sells the currenct version, Ebay would have them, your local coin/currency store might as well. I would also try Heritage auctions and any of the numerous coin chops on the internet. They are out there here is the BEP site
only to the right collector, and only if left uncut. Some not so smart folks like to cut uncut sheets into individual notes and sell them on Ebay ... they worthless, well, worth face. Alot of folks love collecting uncut sheets. And there are times in the past, that some very rare notes were only available in uncut sheets. the BEp loves playing those mind tricks lol and you never know what might be rare until years after they stop beeing sold good luck!!!
I bought a couple sheets at the BEP last Friday ..a full sheet of 32 $1.00 is going for $55 bucks ..the mark up is wild. The deal of the day was a sheet of 16 old $5's for $107. They are the ones that aren't colorized and are selling fast.
I have a couple of sheets. They are tough to store correctly. If you roll them up then it is tough to get them ever to lay flat. Laying them flat bends corners and maybe even creases them. Better IMHO to buy a nice single note.
That sounds like a cop -out. I store full sheets rolled up and 1/4th and 1/8th sheets flat and have no issues. I unroll them from time to time to look at but a coffee cup on each corner keeps them flat with no damage. My flat stack is between 2 pieces of cardboard in an acid free sleeve with no bent corners or creases. Perhaps you should read up on how to store uncut sheets, it might help rebuild your confidence. They are beautiful and fun to collect. Don't let improper handling chase you away so easily. Good luck.
