Can't see the nine good enough, the obverse looks like die cracks and die chips. The rest looks like die deterioration.
There's a closest view of the 9. My other question to every body is: Can be in a single coin DDR and DDO at the same time? (This second question NOT for this quarter).
interesting specimen have to say there are alot of die chips the doubling is die deterioration not a double die. Jazzcoins joe
Yes you can have a double die obverse and a double die reverse,on the same coin, but this is no double die it's die deterioration doubling sorry jazzcoins joe:whistle:
Yesterday when I received my 100 coins bag from Mint, first I putted my gloves on, and I found 3 like this one; and two more with the Ocean error. What about the doubling under the arm?
Thet's is also die deterortion doubling the appearence is mushy. I know ther are serval statehood quarters with souble dies out there but this is not Sorry. Jazzcoins joe
Hi, I agree, the coin is exhibiting all the signs of having been struck by a very worn die. The doubling is worthless die deterioration doubling. Have Fun, Bill
