I have a bunch of these. They are uncirculated but they are bright and shiny. I'm not good at reading pennies. Many have dark outlining around the letters and dates. What do you think? Cleaned? Dipped?

I believe they are cleaned. They don't have that natural shine in my opinion.

Are you sure they are genuine? The obverse of the 1914 does not look right.

Yes, I'm sure. They were in a bank vault for about 30 years. I had some key dates from the same batch graded and they came back as genuine.

    We're any 55 ddos or 09 vdbs there, or 14 d's?

Did they say why they were genuine? My first guess would be PVC contamination, but it is hard to say for sure from that small of a picture. I agree with Hobo. That 14 looks funky.

Yep...they were in PVC. PCGS said the ones I had slabbed were "cleaned".

I do have an 09 vdb that is unc. It looks very similar to the other ones I posted.
