ANACS certified Proof-69 Deep Cameo. These photographs are improperly lit. The fields of the medal display deep mirrors and are not at all hazy like they appear in the pictures.

This medal commemorates the Euromaidan in Ukraine. Albata is a form of nickel-brass alloy, sometimes referred to as "nickel silver", though it contains no actual silver.

This was posted here mostly for the purpose of uploading the pictures, but feel free to comment or post your own relevant coins if you like.

Thanks, LordM, for showing the medals. It brought back memories as I was fortunate enough to visit the Maidan (square or open space) in Kyiv a couple of years ago. The Ukrainians do honor Independence Square and what it stands for. It was really quite dangerous for those holding the square, especially from the unknown shooters. I was able to meet several people who endured the siege and hear it first hand from them.
