Uknown coin with symbols

    I'm not sure what this coin is. I looked on google but it doesn't have any english so I don't know how to look it up. Any help identifying this coin would be appreciated. Both the coins are bronze-colored. Not just the one, I guess I hit the 'black' color button instead of the 'color' button. THanks a ton- Bill

    Both are Japanese coins: left is 5 yen made after 1959 (date is on the other side) and the other is also 5 yen (most probably, although it is indicated on the other side) struck in the 48th year of Hirohito (Showa) or 1973 AD

    Thanks Notoco-the pictures are pictures of the same coin...front and back. But I still found out what it is-thanks again
