Has anyone else noted that at least some of the British 2010 uncirculated half sovereigns has a blemish on obverse (the Queen's side)? I've seen a couple of these coins and they all have a spot like they'd been sandblasted or like there would had been something between the dies and blanks during the striking process. If you have access to a 2010 half sovereign, please check the place just under the upper third of the tiara and let us know if you have a cloudy spot a as well. I've seen the size of the spot being slightly different but it's always been on the same place. The scan shows where to look: Also, what do you think about the quality of Royal Mint's coins (other than proofs)? It's just my opinion, but I think that the quality isn't what it used to be. Especially 2007 and 2008 uncirculated gold coins were horrible, frankly.
