1922 D. I have an option to buy this peace. I have no idea what to pay for it. Melt? but what is melt? I don't want it but I cant turn down silver.
Yes you can. In fact, you can let me buy it. LOL Kidding. If I were to get this, I'd clean it, then put it as a permanent part of my collection. (Mostly because I don't have a peace dollar and I want just one for my collection.) You never know, it may clean up nicely. Then again, some of the others would say it's toning is beautiful. It's just a matter of opinion and taste. But I digress. If you don't like the coin, just simply don't buy it. It will never grow on you, and that's a fact.
That one is rough, lol. If I was to buy it, I would want a discount. Silver melt for a peace dollar is around $13.65, I wouldn't pay over $13 for that one.
You would only get bullion value for that coin no numistic value silver is about $17.65 an ounce you would probably get about $14.00 for it take a little or give a little Bill Somers
Absolutely, I don't know anyone who would buy that unflattering coin. And no offense but if I ended up with it somehow, I would dip the sucker. Incidentally I think silver is at $17 and change. :thumb:
