Don't think that the image depicts the, hmm, coin. This article http://gulftoday.ae/portal/60475370-4bce-4328-b6e4-b3004959c2f1.aspx shows the two pieces but also says "The coins will not be available for sale to the general public." And here http://gulftoday.ae/portal/f72643da-eebc-4f67-a5f8-51209b9fc8d0.aspx it says that "It should be known that all coins have been delivered to the Supreme Council of Energy, hence it will not be available for sale to the general public through banks." Have not read anything about a possible face value either. Government issued medals maybe? Christian
Unlike the US Mint, the UAE doesn't know how to make a buck. Do you know what the price of Gasoline is there? No since it is such a rarity, if you can get one.... wooh wooh. Who knows what you can sell it for on Ebay!
I thought it was south of saudi arabia. East of Bulgaria is still a correct answer. I guess it depends where is SA you are.
That's what maps (paper or digital) are for. And I guess this is one of those cases where the term "coin" is used simply because those gold and silver thingies are round and metallic. Christian
