    Hey guys,

got this from somebody I know today, I'm not very familiar with usa coins, but anyway this thing is about the size of a hockey puck and its looks alot more gold colored in hand, were they made to commemorate a special dollar? and where would this have been made... I know it probly has no value, just wondering what the deal is with this... Thanks

    If it's as big as a hockey puck it's not a coin - it's a replica of the 1907 $20 gold piece.

Yes it sounds like one of many replicas that are made by private companies as novelties. I've got a bunch about that size that are copies of Lincoln Cents, Buffalo Nickels, Mercury Dimes. Never knew there were some for the larger denominations. Many of them are used as drinking glass coasters.
