U.S.A. 2005 5c. Nickel.

I finally got my first coin dated 2005, a very unusual 5c. nickel with a bison on it,which reminds me of those Buffalo Nickels from the 1920's & 1930's. The portrait of President Thomas Jefferson is a very unusual one.Who else apart from me has found one or more of these coins?

Well, being here in the USA, I have many of them. Literally thousands...

 

I have a ton of those too!

 

I got 10 rolls at a bank for face value and just sold them for $3.00 a roll.

Sounds like a cool looking coin. Please post a photo as soon as possible. This I gotta see. Both sides please! What does the rim look like? Is the edge reeded?

 

Here is a scan of the one in my 2005 proof set. :kewl: It has a plain edge.

2005? There are 2005's out there? I'm still waiting to recieve my second 2003. I got my first one a couple of months ago and it is the only post 2002 nickel I've seen in circulation so far.

 

And people think I live in the country.....I get new coins every week...sometimes everyday.....new dimes/cents/quarters/nickels.....
