"A friend of a friend of a brother of a sister's mother in law's friend got this from her father, and asked me to sell it. I don't know anything about coins, but someone told me it was rare. The coin is not graded, because I didn't want to spend the $20 on this 5 million dollar coin to get it slabbed. However, I guaruntee it's authenticity. My feedback score may be low, but that doesn't mean I won't run to Mexico after this auction. I also have a 1792 Half Disme, a 1933 Double Eagle, a Brasher doubloon, three 1913 V nickels and a MS-70 1909 S VDB Lincoln listed this week"

Ha! I'd bid on it, just for the novelty!

It would be a good novelty as long as it wasn't just photoshop.

That's not a real eBay auction, and I found the photo on a website. That one's just a photoshop creation, but some company did make 1964 peace dollars with the word 'COPY' in very small letters on the reverse. I'll see if I can find a picture of the novelty coin.

This one was made by the Royal Oak Mint. They also minted some other copies of the impossibly rare coins, like the 1804 dollar.

If I had one of these copies, I'd keep it as a pocket piece until it looked like a business strike.
