type 2 blank planchet

    Got another 1st for me last night. My son thought I found a 55 the way I got excited:goofer: It's not common to find them in circulation is it?

    Not to common but I have found a couple dozen in circ. cents,

    Not to common but I have found a couple dozen in circ. cents (turned in rolls) in past 12 years - people don't really look at thier coins.
    I have found maybe a dozen mint state ones in BU rolls and one type 1 in that same time.

    Hi,

    Not common but as mentioned , some of us long term roll searchers have found many. I have several dozen that have surfaced in rolls over the years. I always get a kick out of finding one though!
