After viewing a thread by 'Gil', I 'rediscovered' these two bronzes that I had left in my junk drawer for many years, only having a note: Probably Faustina Sr and Jr ? Crispina. So I looked around a bit and came to the conclusion that both are Faustinas: Senior with Vesta holding a scepter and patera, sacrificing over a flaming altar; While Junior has the Fecunditas reverse holding scepter and an infant. Is that about right???
V-K,That's a VERY NICE example of Lucilla.....far better than my worn OP I Love it!! Sorry Bing, I only 'LIKE' mine and yours
I like big bronze coins with that type of wear-- legends gone but devices remaining. They look ancient .
Very sweet OP-example, Mikey_Z ... comfy-cool coin!! Ummm, I have a few that might fit into this category ... Lucilla Crispina Faustina-II
