Two Pence

    I'm not exactly sure, but I think they came directly from a roll into a magic kit from Britian.
    I found these Two Pence in a small container, four of them, all dated 2000 and look like low grade proofs!
    What do you think?

    Just look like normal uncirculated coins to me mate :D they (as far as I can see) dont seem to have any frosting ?

    Does anyone know what they are worth?
    There really isn't anything wrong with them (except a small nick on one rim).
    I've got four, if you didn't see.

    I think they're just really nice uncirculated coins.Even the worst British proofs have mirror finishes on the fields...of course I could be wrong,wouldn't be the first time.:rolling:
    They really aren't worth a lot more than face value..maybe double in the U.S.A. They're basically like cents are here.

    0.02 GBP = 0.035 USD each aprox but they are quite nice :D

    heh I think yours is much nicer than mine... this one is from 1979 and is well circulated...

    Keep them - they are nice unc examples. Many countries (UK, Germany) have somne business strikes that are prooflike when new, including frosting.
