Two old penny errors I've had for many years

    Hello...I found these two coins back in the 60's and never have shown them to anyone. I think these are mint errors - a ragged edge and a clip - but wanted to see what others thought. Thank you. TEETH LAST DAY - COIN ODD ITEMS 004.JPG

    I'm not sure about either because of the blurry images. Try posting clear photos of both sides of each coin.

    Try putting a separate cent into or over the curved 'clip' and see if it exactly follows the curve ( possible real clip) or doesn't ( man made to simulate such ).

    The pictures are a little rough to be totally positive, but the curved clip appears to exhibit the expected flatness across from the clip. I can't tell for sure about the metal flow. I, personally, would not expect a totally true curve on a clip of that size. Some distortion would probably be expected resulting in a small, curved "peak". Actually, I think both are probably good, but can's say for sure.
