Two off-center striked coins...are they error coins?

    I've included a photo of two coins: 1) A 1985 quarter, and 2) a 1979 cent.
    I believe they are both off-center striked coins, but are they error coins?

    Slightly mis-aligned die. Pretty common. Not worth anything extra.

    EDIT: Off center would show on both sides of your coin.
