i love square coins too, i think it is mostly because it is something different and more interesting than the round ones you see 100s of every day
Several countries in the Americas with "Dutch connections" also issued or issue square coins: Aruba, Suriname, Netherlands Antilles ... For collectors who really are into squares there is this book (see below). Don't specifically collect square coins myself, but the author is a member of another coin forum where I hang around.
