I bought these raw, many years ago. I'm happy with the PCGS grades. Feel free to post your favorite Seated coins. I'm really happy with the current value of the dime.
The 1861 is really cool. Being minted and circulating during the war makes it special to me. Just think of where that coin has been.
I often wondered if only a coin could speak, or tell us their travels since leaving the mint. Here's my 1840 which is on of many favorite specimens
This is another favorite specimens of seated coins in my collection. I hunted this variety for about a year...I couldn't believe my eyes when I found it...
My only seated coins are all oddballs. Posted previously but all together here. @lordmarcovan contest winner: Holed, found at paper mill: Contemporary counterfeit, probably from my great-great-great grandfather: Watch fob, found at paper mill: I guess I need two more denominations and I'll have a "set"...
The two seated specimens that have eluded me the 1858 over inverted, haven't been able to pick one yet...and the 1838 o . They are hens teeth... and mosly detailed when you find one...and not just cleaned..but run though a wood chipper.
I posted that also....yours looks a tad bit better than Larry's but finding 1 being able to afford 1,and 1 that doesn't look like it went though a wood chipper. Hard to do...
