Beautiful Groningen, my father was from Gronigen province so I have been looking for a coin that attracts me for a fair time but I'm leaning towards a siege coin as I collect English Civil War so some similarities. Great for you bag a rarity too!
I bought this one a few years ago. It was a leftover everyone had passed on from a Heritage auction, so I probably overpaid. Still it grabbed my attention. I think that is shaped like a rombus because it was easier to cut the straight lines out of sheet of silver rather than a circle.
