Oh, and I thought this topic was about new German commems. Nice ones though, especially the relief on the piece from Württemberg.

I agree, the Wurttemberg is beautiful. I love it!

 

Given the way the obverse of the second coin is made, I bet it's really hard to find it in that condition.

Great stuff - just an anecdote - these exact 2 coins were part of my collection. I traded them in along with a few others to get this rare 2 Taler piece.

I am selling my other german state pieces on ebay under bluehorse444.

 

The coins I own use to be your's ? I had the chance over a month ago to buy the same 2 Thaler coin as yours. I'll checkout your bay list. I've seen the coins you've posted on the forum, you have a very nice collection. I put most of money back into my bussiness, so I do not buy many "rare" coins. My goal is to put togather a nice set of German commemoratives from the 1800's to 1918. But I do enjoy looking at your coins.
