Two Heads

    Hello ,I am new to this site.
    Have a ?. Is this coin worth anything? Found it while I was metal Detecting.

    Sorry, this is only one coin,heads on both side's.

    It's a magician's coin. If you examine it under high magnification, you can probably see the seam along the rim of one where they were fitted together. These are made by using a lathe to ream out the reverse of one coin just inside the rim to a specific depth. Next, you use the lathe to remove the rim and a portion of the entire obverse surface of a second coin so that it can be inserted into the other.

    Since you found this metal detecting, it's possible that dirt and/or corrosion may have served to hide the seam.
