I realize most 2 headed coins are probably novelties but I cam across a coin that seemed strange. It is a a Kennedy half dollar. One of the heads face the opposite direction of the other head. I would have thought all fake coins would face the same direction. Has anyone else found this on their coins. How is this done?

Probably a fake coin (or machined half fake, half real) if one side is facing the wrong direction.

Actually ice, think about it.. the heads have to face the opposite direction. Take a coin, notice the direction the nose is pointing. now turn the coin over and the nose is now pointing the opposite way.. Maybe I am confused?

When I look at the coin, the Kennedy head is facing the left but when you flip coin the Kennedy head is facing the right. I understand that the fake 2 headed coins are made by splitting two coins and basically gluing the two heads back to back but I have yet found a right facing Kennedy. Are there any right facing kennedys in circulation.

When you look at each side individually, with the date, 1964, whatever, at the bottom, one one the head is facing left and on the other, held the same it is facing the right?

    Photos would really help.

Is any of the writing (LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, date) on the side with the "reversed" Kennedy reversed?
