WOW! Look what I found today! http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x275/clembo1872/scan0001-11.jpg Where did I find it? Umm... well... it was in my safe and I forgot about it for YEARS. I AM Mr. Disorganization. Was digging deep today looking for some VDB Lincolns. Found a lot of other stuff while at it. I've probably had this note for 10 years and totally forgot about it. What can I say but hope you like it. clembo
That pretty much sums it up but I might have said "WWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWW"! It looks like a Gem CU as well. I would bet that it would fetch a pretty Penny, maybe a pretty Matte Proof Penny on eBay! Frank
<SARCASM>Of course it's not as good as that 22222222 repeater mislabeled as a radar!!</SARCASM> LOL Sweet find
very nice clembo. im not sure where or in what you keep all your numismatic 'stuff' ... but it seems bottmless i do hope you put up stabilization support beams ... would really hate if the walls of where you are digging fall in onyou
Great Note Clembo!!! :thumb: Did it happen to come to you from circulation? If you bought it did the numbers have any meaning to you?
Got it in circulation when I was running the truck stop. Really had to think about it as I honestly had forgotten about it. We were getting a lot of CU packs at the time and I was just hoping I'd be around if this one hit and I was! The numbers mean nothing to me BTW - just a really cool serial number.
Sweet find man! I say we all go to clembo's house and help him organize his safe, lol, never know what we might find! Lol, nice note man! :thumb: Phoenix
