They appear to be small dates but not worth grading. JMO

Zinc small dates. Don't waste your money sending them to be graded. They are only worth face value.

I'll go out on a limb here and guess that you've heard something about a very valuable 82 small date?

Assuming this the case the coin in question would be an 1982-D small date "COPPER" of which only a single example is presently known (iirc). The chances of locating one is likely in the same ballpark as getting hit with a moon rock, but there's no harm in looking as long as you've realistic expectations. Welcome to the forum.

    Edited to add:

Also, may I ask if you understand why a coin could/should be considered a candidate for grading (submitting)? I ask simply because most new folks do not and/or assume it's necessary.

They are worth 1 cent each. They made 17 billion cents that year and very few carry a premium.
    1982-S proof
1982 small date Philly copper 1982 Philly small date zinc in MINT STATE CONDITION.
And 1 single 1982-D small date copper.
