    What do you mean by, "filled?" Grease? It's not grease. They resemble chips off the old die.

    Definitely die chips, maybe not that rare but still pretty interesting.

    You have to think a little outside the box. I think the OP was referring to a digit with the center (partially) filled rather than completely filled like a "plugged" 9.
