Here are 2 1925 Peace dollars that I sent into Anacs . BTW both got straight grades so no worries about their colors GTG's
The toning on #1 has me concerned. Maybe it's just the picture, but Im gonna say AU details. Is that a ray going through the V in TRVST? #2 im gonna guess is a solid 64
I dont recollect seeing either of these Paddy? The color on the 1st one is purdier than my 2nd cousin after drinkin a gallon of shine. The 'nother one over yander aint too doggone shabby neither. You dirty dog you.
There's a ray going through the V and also in front of the G I'm sitting here trying to vam it now a 1 or a 9a?
The top toned one has me stumped , there's so much going on on this coin I'm lost trying to vam it. The more I study it the more I find...
Ill give it the old college try, but i must warn you, peace $ are a pain and my A.D.D usually kicks in if there isnt an A-typical marker of sorts, to make things easier.
@Paddy54 got it The top one is 11a T-minus 14 mins, not record time but average id say Photos arent clear/bright enough 4 me to attempt the bottom coin
1. MS 63...I would say the color is Market Acceptable, but it is close...still I like it and am glad Anacs didn't detail grade it. 2. MS 64
Well this thing drove me nuts! They are the two die gouges but there's a lot more on the eagle's shoulder, left doubling of the rays, doubling of the leaves , and even more that at 5 am I can't think of yet.
I don't know how I missed this....unless it can't see the forest for the trees Syndrome. But there's clashes or gouges coming off the shoulder . There's doubling of the rays most probably MD, but still ,there gouges off the N, Every time I thought I nailed it something else would pop up and I be WTH? The coin came back as an AU-58 and in hand I didn't expect that, but wanted to throw it gains the wall and see if she stick. Thanks Heavy!
When i found it, i figured maybe you just skipped over that one. Like i said Peace $ are not fun to vam
Well I told you I was going to go to bed...then I started messing with this and the next thing I knew it was 11 pm and I was wired ....I did miss this vam don't know how? But this thing has other pups on it that to me were more substantial . WTG Heavy thanks
Coin #1 Au-58 Coin #2 Ms-62 I was surprised to see coin 1 grade but wanted to give it a shot. Coin 2 weak strike but nice color a matte like finish. This also has a bisected die crack rim to rim . From the T in Liberty to the 9 in the date.
