I'd have to say this is my 'Best of Show' in my smallish collection.

No apology necessary. That's a mint 1916 SLQ. You could post it 2-3 more times and I'd still drool and click 'like' every time :)

    Thanks Dima,
I honestly never thought I've have the chance to be a 'caretaker' for such this rarity purchased many years ago from Ira Stein. I had originally purchase one of his 1916's that was toned gun metal gray ($18K). He tempted me with this 'eye candy' example after purchasing it at that years FUN show. I traded it in and happily gave him an extra $2K. At that time I was making an obscene amount of cash QC-ing parts for the seismic guns used in deep sea oil exploration. This was a vanity purchase, whereas the complete set of MS-63-65 Mexican Centenario gold coins were more of an investment. (Fact: the complete set of gold cost just $819 more than this quarter at that time) Investment-wise purchasing a duplicate set of gold would prove to be much better ...BUT....What the heck, I'd still buy this coin again!

    Repeat I'm sure. Obv/rev combinations of 1900-P.
    I/II

Still hunting for the II/II. The III/II I don't think exists.
